Challenge Stadium
The Presets at Challenge Stadium
Editorial
It doesn't stop there; Challenge offers much more than a top class arena suitable for touring musicians and bands. This hugely popular venue regular captures acts, events and performers in all fields. From theatre, plays and productions, to high ticket sporting events, Challenge is a wealth of national and international stardom.
Located in Mount Claremont, west of Perth, Challenge provides a magnificent facility for every event imaginable. A sporting complex doubling as a performance amphitheatre, Challenge is also home to the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS). It's also the home venue of the Perth Wildcats basketball team and West Coast Fever netball team.
Previously known as the Perth Superdrome, Challenge Stadium's main indoor arena holds 4,500 people (over 5,000 with standing room). The complex also features an Olympic standard aquatic centre, several basketball courts, two arenas, an adventure training course and a gym. Not to mention, accommodation, function rooms, childcare centres, a sports store, a museum and cafes. Challenge also hosts regular exhibitions and Expos throughout the year.
