  • Free lock, carrybag, pump, puncture kit, tyre levers, spanner are available. Accessories for hire include pannier bags, lights, bike racks for cars
  • For the serious rider there is a selection of bike frame sizes and special pedals for off road mountain bikes and road/racing bikes Please consider bringing your own pedals and shoes, saddle and even helmet for longer term hires to add to your enjoyment

Note: Wearing of helmets is compulsory in Western Australia.

Eco Ride / Mountain Bike Trails
A ride with a difference!!!!  
John Forrest National Park and Mundaring townsite are about 35km from Perth city. Nearby are wonderful off-road nature trails. Try these:

  • Lake Leschenaultia Mountain Bike Trail: 5.25km (easy 20 - 40 minutes) gently winding on pea-gravel trails. Suit all ages and all abilities.
  • Mundaring Loop Trail: 15.5km (moderate, 1 - 2hrs) using old railway embankments and one lane tracks requiring some mountain bike skills on downhill and rutted sections. These can be walked. Historic Mundaring Weir nearby.
  • Railway Reserve Trail: 40.8km. (easy, 4 - 6hrs) climbing 300 metres through through the John Forrest National Park on the old railway embankments. It is possible to do sections of this trail.

Brookton Highway - Carinyah Trail is also about 30 km from Perth in the forest.
  • Carinyah Trail: 15.7km (easy/moderate 1 - 2hrs). Most of the trail is on existing forest roads and tracks. Some short steep rocky climbs.
